The Seminar will enlighten all parties in playing their roles to ensure the development and the enforcement of Malaysian Standards are in accordance and expectation of the shareholders.

ARCHITALENT : Architectural Students Design Competition - Discovering The Journey

In conjunction with The 18th International Architecture, Interior Design & Building Exhibition 2017 (ARCHIDEX17), Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia (PAM) in collaboration with C.I.S Network Sdn Bhd is organising the Achitectural Students Design Competition (ARCHITALENT). The competition will be held from 11 May to 20 July 2017. The theme is "Social Architecture" and open to Undergraduate Students (Part 1 and Part 2) from all Accredited schools of architecture in Malaysia.

The Go-Ex Programme was developed as part of the Government’s initiatives to guide and enhance the growth of Malaysian Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). With the appointment of the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) as the implementing agency, the Government is assertive that participation from local SMEs in this programme will develop and nurture to become more resilient and competitive in the international marketplace.

MID-TIER PROGRAMME: CREATING REGIONAL AND GLOBAL CHAMPIONS

The Mid-Tier Companies Development Programme (MTCDP) was established in 2014 to help mid-tier companies (MTCs) in Malaysia to accelerate their export growth and strengthen their core business functions. This 9-month programme targets already-exporting companies with annual revenues between RM50 million to RM500 million for manufacturing companies and RM20 million to RM500 million for services companies.

SERVICES EXPORT FUND (SEF)

Assistance programme to Malaysian Service Providers (MSPs), Trade & Industry Associations, Chamber of Commerce and Professional Bodies to undertake activities to expand and venture into the international market.
The assistance is extended in the form of reimbursable grant and soft loan. Each company is eligible for a maximum of RM5 million in reimbursable grant and soft loan for the duration the period 2015 – 2020.
The eligible activities are:-

Activity 1 – 50% reimbursable grant for eligible expenses incurred up to a maximum of RM50,000/ per company

a) Promoting Malaysian expertise in services at international events overseas as speaker in conference, forums and participating in services industry related competitions;
b) Travelling expenses for tender bidding;
c) Procuring commercial intelligence/ market reports for assessing business opportunity or projects overseas.

Activity 2 - 50% reimbursable grant for eligible expenses incurred up to a maximum of RM50,000 per company

a) Rendering services for projects undertaken overseas;
b) Presentation to potential clients for assessing business and projects overseas;
c) Preparation of prototype, system customization/ localization to meet projects requirements overseas.

Activity 3 – 50% reimbursable grant for eligible expenses incurred in the initial 12 months for the setting up office overseas, up to a maximum of RM150,000 per company (whichever is earlier)

Activity 4 - 50% reimbursable grant for eligible expenses incurred up to a maximum of RM1 million per company for the logistic cost for sending Malaysian products / equipment for projects abroad implemented by Malaysian services companies (port to port)

Activity 5 - 50% reimbursable grant for eligible expenses incurred up to a maximum of RM3 million per company to conduct feasibility study for the specific international projects overseas

Soft Loan (Soft Loan Scheme for Services Exports – SLSSE). Application must be made to MIDF

Activity 6 – Cost incurred in preparation and submission of project proposals for overseas projects up to a maximum of RM2 million per company

Activity 7 – Expenses related to raising bank guarantee or performance bond to execute overseas projects up to a maximum of RM5 million per company

Activity 8 – Collateral in issuance of bank guarantee or performance bond up to a maximum of RM5 million per company

Activity 9 – Remaining 50% on eligible expenses for setting up office overseas for the initial twelve (12) months up to a maximum of RM150,000 per company

Activity 10 – Mobilisation costs up to a maximum of RM150,000 per company

MARKET DEVELOPMENT GRANT SUSPENDED TEMPORARILY

The Market Development Grant (MDG) is a financial support facility in the form of a reimbursable grant. MDG assists small and medium enterprises (SMEs), service providers, trade & industry associations, chambers of commerce and professional bodies, to undertake export promotional activities.

The maximum ceiling amount for MDG per company is RM200,000.

However, due to overwhelming response to the MDG, the budget allocated for 2016 has been fully utilised by the eligible Malaysian Companies. Hence, EFFECTIVE 1ST JANUARY 2017, the new application for the MDG will be TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
