We are pleased to inform you that PAM, through BIM Committee, will be organising the “PAM BIM SUMMIT 2023: BIM ANYTHING”.

The Summit plans to bring all construction industry players together to gain the knowledge and benefits of BIM (Building Information Modelling) in practice. In this event, participants will get a glimpse of how BIM has transformed the local construction industry, especially the architectural design services.

BIM has changed the way of doing business for local architectural design services. Data/information exchange plays an important essence, and it became main part of day-to-day business elements. Today, it is not only spearheaded by the government, but the private sectors are also pushing BIM to become part of their main business stream after experiencing BIM themselves. Moving forward, BIM is here to stay for good, adoption of BIM will benefit the Malaysian public, architecture, and environment.

We are pleased to invite you to The James Robert Vethavanam Inaugural Memorial Lecture, featuring Architect PK Das of PKDA Architects, Mumbai, India.

The lecture titled 'Re-visioning Cities in the Climate Crisis Era: A Nature Led Planning & Development Approach' will be held on 10 October 2023 at the Dewan Presiden PAM, from 2.30pm to 5.30pm.

PAM Annual Architecture Student Works Exhibition 2023 (PAASWE 2023)

Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia (PAM) is pleased to announce that the 17th PAM Annual Architecture Student Works Exhibition 2023 will be held from 4 - 8 October 2023 at GF Centre Court, 1Utama Shopping Centre, Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

This year’s exhibition theme is “Dancing Tower”. The word dancing in the theme is the method of revealing the architecture students’ works through cascading layering and another dynamic form. The word Tower represents the students’ Higher Aim to reach the Sky, which was depicted in every project they have completed and will be exhibited in the exhibition booths.
