MATRADE's events and programmes

We are pleased to forward to you the updates of events organised by MATRADE for your participation.
The events are Free of Charge (FOC) and the registration can be made online via MATRADE’s website (http://www.matrade.gov.my).

50% REDUCTION OF PAM MEMBERSHIP SUBSCRIPTION FEE FOR YEAR 2021
With the Movement Control Order (MCO), Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO), Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) and its extensions by our Government recently to tackle the Coronavirus or Covid-19 pandemic, some of us have faced downtime in their daily operations and some have experienced delays in completing tasks and projects. Consequently, some of us may be experiencing financial challenges, due to the impacts of COVID-19 on the economy and local businesses.
Due to this current challenging situation, PAM is pleased to offer the 50% reduction of Membership Subscription Fee for the year 2021. Please refer to the attached table for the updated Subscription Fee 2021.

Kindly make payment by sending a cheque/money order/postal order/bank draft made payable to Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia or do a bank transfer to our bank account. Details are as below;

Please note that during the CMCO, PAM Centre will only open to members on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

For those who have made payment for the Subscription Fee 2021, PAM will reimburse your payment in approximately 45 days. To claim for reimbursement, please email us your details, as follows, to membership@pam.org.my :

We are not in the position to give full financial assistance to our members to help with their survival under this trying situation, however, we hope this will help to reduce the financial burdens of our members.
PAM Council also hope that this fee reduction will bring more architects and graduate architects to join PAM as members and also to assist existing members in renewing their membership subscriptions. PAM always value its members’ participations, as the strength of our Institute is from its large membership base.
Urban Thinkers Campus Webinar: Healthy Environments Through Architecture
As a partner of UN-Habitat, initiators of the Urban Thinkers Campus, the UIA will host a webinar on 24 October 2020 at 12h00 GMT. Moderated by UIA Council Member Kevin Bingham, the event will seek to discuss the theme, Healthy Environments through Architecture. It will include presentations from global experts and opening remarks from UIA President Thomas Vonier.

PAM – 2nd Survey To Access The Impact Of The MCO And COVID-19 On Architecture Firms
- This is a follow-up survey by the PAM Research & Futures Committee to better understand the impact of the MCO on our firms.
- Findings of our first survey (5-10 May 2020) were used to assist policymakers in formulating relief measures found in PENJANA.
- In order to ensure accuracy of the survey, we ask only one Director/Principal per architectural practice to answer the survey.
- Thank you for returning your survey to PAM to help us better support Architects to steer us through these challenging times.
- This survey is only open from 4 - 18 July 2020.
