Synopsis

Born after the Millennial Generation, Generation Z has been defined by the technology itself. Being technology driven they have evolved to becoming an independent, pragmatic stubborn and always in the rush. For this reason as well they have also become the ultimate ‘self-educators’ learning anything and everything in and on the net.

A part of this Generation would also be the future architects, the future builder. As time becomes the vital essence, appreciation for the NATURE, ART and the joys of the LEARNING PROCESS would also become depleted which were once the PILLARS of ARCHITECTURE. Human interaction has been replaced by the interaction with gadgets and software. There is absolutely no room for mistake, no room to ponder out thoughts to which that is the primary essence which makes us human and appreciative to our surroundings.

This lack and depleted trait will soon define our future architects. And we will soon see buildings and creation without PASSION and SOUL. Gone are the SINCERITY in doing this art of ours, the HUMBLENESS of interacting with the society and surrounding and the SHARING of the craft and knowledge as the Generation Z becomes more self-absorbed and knowledge-egoist. As such the current care takers must then addressed this so that the future builders will not be LOST in this transformation of AGE in order for ARCHITECTURE to stay true to its nature.
