1. MEMBERSHIP APPLICATIONS

i) New Applications

2. ACTIVITIES 2004 - 2005

i) PAM Members' Night 2005

The 2005 PAM Members' Night be held on Friday 25 February 2005.

The venue and theme is being finalised by the sub-committee.

ACTION: For Council's information. Secretariat to follow up.

ii) Building Industry Dinner 2005

The 2005 Building Industry Dinner be held on Friday 24 June 2005 and will co-incide with the June 2005 Council meeting.

The proposed venue for the Dinner was Hilton KL Sentral is either Renaissance Hotel.

ACTION: For Council's information. Secretariat to follow up.

iii) PAM Annual Dinner 2005

The 2005 PAM Annual Dinner will be held on Saturday 10 September 2005 at
the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

The committee will submit a proper paper on the proposal to confer the PAM Honorary Membership to YAB Dato' Seri, which will be presented to him during the PAM Annual Dinner.

3. COMPETITIONS & AWARDS 2005

i) PAM Membership Golf 2005

The PAM Membership Golf is proposed for either 24th February, 26th February 2005' or 27th February 2005

The actual date will be decided depending on the availability of the venue for the competition.

ACTION: For Council's information. Secretariat to follow up.

ii) PAM-MIP Challenge Trophy (Golf)

PAM has written to MIP, on the proposal to organise a friendly golf competition, and are awaiting reply from MIP

ACTION: For Council's information. Secretariat to follow up.

iii) PAM Golf 2005

The PAM Golf 2005 has been proposed for either 14th or 21st July 2004.

The committee requests Council to decide whether next year competition will also be organised for charity purposes.

iv) PAM-BIM-ISM-IEM Triangular Golf Tournament

The proposed date for this Golf Tournament is either 2nd or 16th April 2005.

The committee proposed that is tournament be called the Minister of Works
Challenge Trophy. PAM will write to the Minister of Works on the proposal.

v) PAM Steel Roofing Award 2005

The PAM Steel Roofing Award will be handled by the Awards and Competition Committee.

4. YOUTH & SPORT MATTERS

i) Field Visit

The following site visits were proposed for the year 2005.

i) February 7 Visit to Putrajaya Corporation HQ
ii) April 17 Visit to Suppliers Factory
iii) June 19 Visit to KLCC Convention Centre
iv) August 28 Visit to Parliament House

ACTION: For Council's information. Secretariat to follow up.

ii) Overseas Visit

The committee will go ahead with the proposed visit to Singapore and will contact SIA to arrange for this visit.

ACTION: For Council's information. Secretariat to follow up.

i) Inter Firm Friendly Games

The 2005 Inter Firm Friendly Games, would include Bowling, Futsal and Paintball.

The dates and venue for the games will be confirmed later.

ACTION: For Council's information. Secretariat to follow up.

iv) PAM Family Weekend 2005

The PAM Family Weekend 2005 will be held in Penang in August 2005.

The format and budget required for the Weekend will be submitted to Council for approval, once it is finalized.

5. PROPOSED CHANGES TO PAM CONSTITUTION

The committee is in the midst of preparing a paper to Council.
