Mission statement
- Formulating guidelines and organising PAM Awards & Competitions with the aim to improve the prestige of the competitions and awards and also elevate the image of the architecture profession.
- Study and formulate the establishment of rules and guidelines to better facilitate commercial architectural design competitions.

Mission Statement
- To coordinate, facilitate and advance the pursuit of excellence in architectural education in Malaysian institutions.
- To educate the future architects (student/ graduate members of PAM) in preparing for professional practice and the building industry.
- To coordinate and facilitate matters relating to architectural education with local, regional and international events and updates.

OBJECTIVE
To work with all stakeholders and function as key advisor in striving for an improved delivery of housing projects and the betterment of quality of lives in housing communities.
Scope of Works:
- To engage in dialogues with the Ministry of Housing and Local Government regularly in housing related matters that needs urgent attention by all stakeholders.
- To assist the government in proposing and developing related guidelines to arrive at acceptable standards and specifications for low and medium cost houses.
- To provide an advisory service to practising architects, the government or the private sector.
- To act as the “expert” group of PAM which deals with all matters of Housing and Human Settlements that have been referred to Council from both the government and private sectors, the public or any other organization.
- To defend and advance the important role of architects to the public, developers, authorities and government in matters related to housing in the country.
- To engage in greater context with the housing communities and public to congregate information that can be promoted to all the stakeholders concerned for improvement to the current systems and policies.
- To respond to housing problems, identify housing issues, and create awareness among members to keep them informed on housing issues.
- To explore more participation of architects via open competitions in the design and construction of affordable homes in the greater Klang Valley with all stakeholders, namely the Public and private sector property developers.
- To hold workshops to discuss housing issues and problems and publish solutions for public consumption.
- To build up a resource centre or databank of information on housing and human settlements where literature and expertise can be extracted from by the practising architects, government, private sectors and the public.
- To undertake studies and assignments on housing and human settlements on housing and human settlements.
- To organise research programmes for architectural students.

Mission Statement
