1.0 INTERNATIONAL UNION OF ARCHITECTS (UIA)
The meeting was informed that Gaetan Siew had interest to run for UIA President.

The next UIA Council Meeting would be held in May 2005.

2.0 APEC ARCHITECT PROJECT
The 4th Steering Committee meeting will be held on 21 to 23 September 2004 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
a. NCARB will be hosting the 4th Steering Committee Meeting.

b. The meeting was informed that the LAM International Affairs Committee would be the Monitoring Committee. Dato' Ar Esa would check with LAM whether CAEM would be part of the Monitoring Committee.

3.0 CO-OPERATIVE ACTIVITIES WITH AUSTRALIA
There was no feedback received from Australia to date.

4.0 PROFESSIONAL SERVICES DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
Invitation to Register Interest to Export Services
The Secretariat would compile a list of Architect Firms who provide export services.

5.0 ASEAN FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT ON SERVICES (AFAS)
a. ASEAN Council of Architect
Council had approved for the formation of ASEAN Council of Architects (ACA). The meeting agreed that PAM should initiate and invite Architect Organisation in the ASEAN region to form ACA. For a start, the idea of ACA can be brought up during PAM-SIA Dialogue.

The ASEAN Register was brought up at the last AFAS CCS Meeting.

6.0 MIDA
The Committee was informed that MIDA, under MITI, is now in charge of promoting the Services Sector. Once PAM has the CD of PAM e-Directory and Architects Malaysia, a copy of it will be sent to MIDA. The CD or Webpage is targeted to be ready in mid August 2004.

7.0 MTEN
On Ar Tan Pei Ing's report on the "Kumpulan Perunding Globalisasi Kebangsaan (KPAK) MTEN ke 29" on 29 April 2004 regarding the 3rd Paper, presented by Multimedia Development Corporation (MDC) on "Aligning Human Capital Development with Future Technological Advancement", the meeting agreed to support the proposals presented in the paper.

8.0 MATRADE
At the previous meeting, it was reported that PSDC would prepare the circular from member's feedback on the current tax incentives to promote member's feedback. However, so far there had been no feedback received.

9.0 NAPSEC
Members of NAPSEC have been invited to submit write-ups and photographs related to members' Professional services for posting on NAPSEC's website. PAM was preparing a similar set up but it would be e-Directory which would be put up on the website and not printed version.
