"Carcosa was built in 1897/98 as the residence of Sir Frank Swettenham when he became the first Resident-General of Federated Malay States (FMS). Seri Negara, built in 1913, served to function as the lodging house for the High Commissioner of FMS"

In-conjunction with the Jalan Merdeka Exhibition held at the two buildings from 31st August to 30th September 2017, PAM is organizing The Carcosa & Seri Negara: Heritage Fun Run which will be held as follows:

Venue : Seri Negara, Persiaran Mahameru, Taman Tasik Perdana

Start/Finish Point : Lawn @Seri Negara

The run is FREE and OPEN TO PUBLICS and will take upon a historic route that ties the two buildings to the lake that was once known as Sydney Lake in Taman Botani Perdana.
