Synopsis :
Flooring & Coating Contribution to LEED V4 Certified Project
The Aim of this training is to first briefly present one of the main international Green Building Rating System called LEED and more specifically the latest version v4 / v4.1. The focus of the presentation will be on BD&C (Building Design & Construction) and its credit/rating system. For main categories of construction chemicals (including and focusing on Flooring & coatings) it will be explained in what ways those products can contribute to get credit points which will help reaching the intended certification level. Testing Methods and useful links for further detailed information will be discussed and shared during the training.
Dry Shake Terrazo Floor – Aesthetically Tough
Floors are a key component of a building and are subjected to the heaviest usage daily. However, it is also one of the most overlooked area during design and construction. On top of that, there is also the tough choice of performance vs aesthetic. The objective of this presentation is to introduce the possibility of using products and techniques to build a floor that is tough yet aesthetically pleasing.
