1.0 Proposed PAM Strategic Plan Workshop 2004
The President discussed with Prof Syed Mohd Fahmy on a proposal to conduct the PAM Strategic Plan Workshop in late April / May 2004.

The proposed dates for the workshop were:
1. 6pm, Thursday, 22 April 2004 to 6pm, Sunday, 25 April 2004
2. 6pm, Thursday, 6 May 2004 to 6pm, Sunday, 9 May 2004
3. 6pm, Thursday, 20 May 2004 to 6pm, Sunday, 23 May 2004

The proposed venues were:
1. Janda Baik Seri Dinar Training Retreat
2. Cyber Lodge, Cyberjaya
3. IOI Palm Resort

Prof Syed Mohd Fahmy to revert with a fee and programme proposal.

2.0 ISO 9001: 2000 Implementation
The Committee was briefed on the progress of the Quality Management System consultations to date. Only President attended the first meeting on 18 March. The Management Representative and Quality Co-ordinator attended the subsequent meeting.

An ISO 9000 Awareness Training session was proposed to be held on Wednesday 21 April 2004. The original date on Saturday 10 April would be taken up by PAM Part 3 Tutorials. All Committee Chairmen, Office Bearers and Secretariat/PBSB staff were required to attend.

3.0 Staffing at Secretariat
Project Officer, Norashidah Salleh, left on 12 March 2004.

9 applicants were short listed for interview. 2 applicants, Mahathir Abdul Rahim and Yusmaniza Zulkifli, were offered the position of Project Officer to replace Azam and Norashidah. Mahathir had reported for work on 16 March 2004 and Yusmaniza will report for work on 29 March 2004.

4.0 Pusat Binaan Sdn Bhd (PBSB)
PBSB was recruiting an accounts personnel to replace Saliza.
