  Mission Statement

To defend, maintain and advance the Architect’s leadership role in the Building Industry in the interest and safety of the public.

 

  Scope of Works

- To present to the Government issues on the Built Environment and the Architectural Profession.
- To promote PAM to the Government as the point of reference for dialogue with the Architectural Profession.
- To review and streamline the development process to ensure proper system and mechanism are put in place for self-certification to work effectively pertaining to CCC to be issued by Professional Architects.
- To coordinate with CIDB in the preparation of Malaysian Construction Industry Master Plan and the various working groups connected therewith.
- To pursue with the Local Government to ensure the Entitlement of Professional Architects as per Architects Act to submit plan or drawings to any person or authority in Malaysia including preparing and submitting applications for planning approval (without the necessity of having a Town Planner to endorse such application).
