Declaration 2050 Imperative
The UIA and its partners committed to work together to phase out CO2 and fossil fuel emissions by 2050, by means of design strategies and socially responsible construction.The “Declaration 2050 Imperatives,” put forward by the Director of the Australian Institute of Architects, David Parken, was discussed and amended by the partners for presentation before the UIA General Assembly on 8 August 2014, where it was unanimously adopted.
